Task

A dewatering plant required a container that could collect filter cake, be transported and emptied by forklift, and allow the retained water to be drained separately in a controlled manner.

Solution

ENITOR developed a tipping container with a 2-inch drain connection at the lowest point below the pouring edge. Inside, a removable V2A stainless-steel filter insert with a tubular frame, perforated sheets and mesh provides additional water separation. The insert can be lifted out by crane for cleaning and maintenance.

Result

The design combines collection, dewatering, in-plant transport and disposal of filter cake with an accessible filter insert that is easy to remove and clean.
